Dear TeachUsTech’ers,

If the text on your iPhone feels too small, you can make it easier to read in just a minute or two.

This week’s quick guide shows you how to increase your iPhone font size using the Accessibility settings.

These newsletters are made to be printed and kept nearby, so feel free to mark them up and write your own notes in the margins. If you have a friend that would appreciate this but don’t know how to forward emails yet, you can view our very first newsletter here on “How to Forward an Email”.

What You’ll Learn

• how to open the right iPhone setting
• how to turn on Larger Accessibility Sizes
• how to move the slider to make text bigger

Step 1 – Open Settings

Open the Settings app, scroll down, and tap Display & Text Size.

Step 2 – Tap Larger Text

In the Display & Text Size menu click Larger Text.

Step 3 – Tap Button

Tap the Larger Accessibility Sizes button.

Step 4 – Drag Dot

Drag the dot along the scale to get to the font to the desired size.

Step 5 – Press Back

Press Back to continue to use your phone. All font sizes should be adjusted to your desired size.

Tech Tip

Some apps support larger text better than others, but many common iPhone apps will adjust right away.

Final Thought

If reading your phone feels tiring, making the font a little bigger can make everyday tasks much more comfortable.
